Hope you're all well.
Today's card is made using Joanna Sheen's fabulous new double CD set - Holly Pond Hill. This was only released on Friday and I ordered it direct from Joanna's site and they arrived yesterday! How fast is that? Ordered one day and delivered the next. You always get fast and brilliant service from Sheeny Towers, though.
I've kept this one simple as I didn't want to swamp the gorgeous backing paper and the delicately coloured image.
The little mouse in the image is adorable and she's fast asleep on her lily pad. I've printed it onto canvas paper because I love the texture it gives.
The gorgeous paper is printed onto Supersmooth. Have to say, Joanna has excelled herself with these papers are they are all stunning (as is the artwork).
A sentiment (from the CD), some faux pearls and a glitter button and that's it...a nice, simple, pretty card. The inside is decorated to match.
It's an 8 x 8 cardbase and I've matted with white Papermania Textured cardstock which I have coloured with my promarkers...Sunkissed Pink this time. I've made the flower out of the same paper and coloured that in the same way. It was cut using Spellbinders Daisy Patch dies.
The lacy edging is made using a Martha Stewart punch, and the ribbon is made from a piece of the textured cardstock and a strip of the backing paper.
This Holly Pond Hill CD set is fabulous. I'll be using it a lot and it's already a favourite.
