Hope you're all having a good weekend?
Today's card is made using stamps and papers which came free with this month's Simply Cards & Papercraft magazine, and it's a fabulous freebie. It's Teddy Bo & co!
The image and sentiment stamps are both part of the free stamp set, and they also come with a little boy bear and some other sentiments and things. There are papers for both sexes, but being me I chose to use the pink version today.
I have used Papermania Textured Cardstock for the matting layers (in pink and white) and two of the papers from the free kit. I have decorated the insides to match but reversed the usage of the papers.
The lacy edging was cut using a Martha Stewart punch, and I have used Spellbinders to cut the image and sentiment layers.
The gorgeous image has been cololured using my promarkers and it was very simple to colour in.
I have layered this all up using pinflair and some foam pads for more dimension.
To finish off I have added some roses, leaves and a small, silver filigree corner from Wild Orchid, and some faux pearls from my stash.
I am entering this card into the Wild Orchid Challenge and the theme there is 'Anything Goes!' What a fab theme.
And Crafter's Companion Challenge with the theme of 'Here Comes Summer,' as this teddy is wearing the sort of things we're all wearing this summer, lol.
Have a great weekend Folks!
